UYISENGA NI IMANZI

UNM is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 to respond to the needs of orphan-headed households affected by the genocide and HIV/AIDS. Over time, it has transformed into a child and youth-focused organisation, with a mission to strengthen family cohesion, provide care for vulnerable children, promote economic empowerment for youth, and support mental health wellness.

Mission

UNM’s mission is to contribute to the children’s rights promotion, improvement of their living conditions, their social reintegration and rehabilitation and the provision of a holistic package of services to individuals, families, community and in partnership with other stakeholders. Through counseling, capacity building and empowering them to be involved in a process of solving their problems and participating in the country's recovery and development.

Vision

Uyisenga Ni Imanzi aspires to a society that cares to all children, bringing an increasing transformational Development and impact in a peaceful and protective environment in Rwanda through responding to the needs of the vulnerable children and youth.
