H.E. Mrs. Jeannette Kagame is a devoted First Lady, mother and advocate for the uplifting of vulnerable communities in Rwanda. In her years as First Lady, H.E. Mrs. Jeannette Kagame has invested in personifying the professional merit, strong family values, and social grace an empowered woman should aim for.
She is the patron of the SOS Children’s Village – Rwanda, and Chairperson of Unity Club, which strives towards social cohesion and of the long-term development goals for Rwanda.
The First Lady also chairs the Imbuto Foundation, which grew from a rapid and effective response to the spread of HIV/AIDS in Rwanda during and following the Genocide Against the Tutsi, to a holistic model catering to the entire life cycles of diverse beneficiaries.(…)
