Ibuka Rwanda

Ibuka Rwanda is an umbrella organisation established in 1995 to advocate for the rights and welfare of survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. It focuses on remembrance, justice, and support for survivors through programmes in legal aid, trauma healing, social and economic empowerment, and genocide prevention. Ibuka plays a key role in preserving memory, promoting unity, and ensuring that genocide survivors receive necessary assistance.

Providing advocacy with the survivors and monitoring all the activities engaged in problem-solving of the challenges faced by survivors.

Vision

To be an organization of national and international reference in issues of genocide prevention, preservation of genocide memory, and fight against any kind of genocide ideology.
